The 10 Commandments of Dating
In dating because this word and its subject is not spelled out in the Bible, yet God does give us various examples of how this should be done- Biblically people ONLY DATE TO SET A DATE-MEANING MARRY!
Commandment #1: Do Not Date someone who is unsaved, or someone who does not share your spiritual and religious views.
Commandment #2: DO NOT DATE SOMEONE WHO YOU WOULD NOT CONSIDER MARRYING!
Dating is a dress-rehearsal for marriage! People don’t change just because you get married, rather than change they get comfortable… If a person is a certain way when you are dating them, then marriage will only magnify who they really are. Things only change by the Power of God. Ask for Power and not change, because the power is great enough to make an everlasting change!
Commandment #3: Do not date someone who does not love you, or appreciate you, or who cheats on you.
Commandment #4: Do not date someone you cannot trust.
Commandment #5: Do not date someone who you can’t be real, open, honest, and vulnerable with.
Commandment #6: Do not date someone who devalues you or disrespects you in any way.
Commandment #7: Do not date someone who you cannot follow or lead.
Commandment #8: Do not date someone who is jealous of you or tries to compete with you.
Commandment #9: Do not date someone who has a totally different vision than what you know God has given you for your life.
Commandment #10: Do not date someone who totally hates your family and is unwilling to make some level of comprise to have a cordial relationship with them.
